Many of these copyrighted designs have been repeatedly displayed on The Trees of Christmas at the Smithsonian Institution and are in their permanent collection.  Each Snowflake book has some simple designs. All books have clear photos, easy-to-follow directions, new uses, a page of Helpful Hints and a chart of counted cross-stitch designs to fit into the Ring snowflakes. Each book has basic Snowflake Patterns [SP] and Ring [R] snowflake designs which are crocheted around a plastic ring to leave a center space for embroidery, photos, charms, prisms or other treasures. CROCHET SNOWFLAKES,  BOOK I, has 25 snowflake designs for beginners and skilled alike.  There are cross-stitch charts for: festive candle, poinsettia, Black-Eyed Susan, JOY, HOPE and ABCs, each sized to fit inside the center rings.

CROCHET SNOWFLAKES, BOOK II,  has 15 snowflake designs, plus two pages of cross-stitch charts: skier, boat, anchor, simple Christmas tree, heart, PEACE, LOVE, HOPE, JOY, and years.

CROCHET SNOWFLAKES, BOOK III, has 15 snowflake designs, plus charts for: violet, thistle, strawberry, full Christmas tree, double hearts, initials, dates and years.  Detailed instructions are given on how to personalize snowflakes and make them into original heirlooms to be passed through the family.
