WHAT DO HEART ATTACK, STROKE AND ALZHEIMERS HAVE IN COMMON? Recently, I was given a book by Dr. Kilmer S. McCully called The Heart Revolution. Astoundingly, Dr. McCully says heart disease, the number one killer in North America, is not caused by cholesterol but by a toxic amino acid in our blood called homocysteine. The following seven paragraphs from this book describe why controlling homocysteine levels is a matter of life or death.
